In my opinion it was a modern day Thermopylae. The difference between the two battles being that in Thermopylae the Spartans were at least able to take advantage of the Terrain to minimize the Persian’s numerical advantage. But in this battle the US forces were completely surrounded. They had no way of evening the odds at all. But somehow, caused such devastation to the Chinese forces that they had to permanently disband 2 of their divisions and the remaining divisions were still under-strength for 7 months.\n\nYou control the United Nations X-Corps, which primarily consisted of US Marine and Army forces.
