This abstract strategy game includes a number of unusual ideas. First of all, the set-up is random. The mahogany frame is shaken until the weighted pieces all fall into place. The goals of the two included games are straightforward enough -- connect opposite sides of the board, or control the four center squares. However, the pieces are something of a mystery. Most will be blank side up at first, and it is only as they are overturned that you discover whether each moves one square at a time or an unlimited number (like a queen in Chess.) In addition, there are certain special moves that can dramatically alter gameplay.
