The rest of players will pick their role through a draft and the chosen role is the player's win condition for the game.\n\nFrom there, the players discuss what happened, such as what roles they picked or passed to the next player. Of course, you don't have to tell the truth! It is an open discussion, although the Vigilante has the authority to prevent cross-talks or enforce silence periods. The Vigilante is equipped with Verdict cards and they place them in front of players they suspect are Goons. Once placed, the end the discussion by saying \"Bang!\" The selected players show their roles and any Goons not shot will now reveal themselves and attempt to shoot the Rat.\n\nEach role has its own path to victory. Some are hunting others, while others are trying to keep their heads low.
